IPS e.max® Veneers
Ultra-thin lithium-disilicate ceramic laminates for a natural, luminous smile.
About this treatment
IPS e.max® laminates are a high-aesthetic restoration made from lithium-disilicate ceramic. A very thin ceramic shell is bonded to the front surface of the tooth to improve its colour, shape, size, and the overall look of your smile.
The treatment is built on the principle of preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible, and is prized for a colour and translucency that closely match a natural tooth.
Natural aesthetics
IPS e.max ceramic transmits light like natural enamel for a true-to-life result.
Durable & stain-resistant
Lithium-disilicate withstands daily chewing and resists staining from coffee, tea, and wine.

Frequently asked
How many years do laminates last?
With good care and regular check-ups, around 10–15 years on average, and sometimes longer.
How is a laminate different from a zirconia crown?
A laminate thinly covers the front surface and preserves more tooth, so it is used mainly for cosmetic cases; a zirconia crown covers the whole tooth and suits more heavily damaged teeth.
